It's time I wrote

I have been working on a philosophy essay which I was planing on posting on here as a first post in some time . However , I felt like there is a lot I could write about besides philosophy. Excuse me if this comes out rough , but I'm writing it spontaneously and on my phone.

Life for me has dramatically changed in the past twelve months and especially the last three months . My trip to India , graduation , substitute teaching , trip to Europe , grad school acceptance , and most dramatically , the war in Libya .

I'm in a state of limbo because I am not sure what will happen or what I' ll do the next few days , but I am at ease . I know it will work out some how , and because there is no use worrying about a thing ; what ever will happen will inevitably happen , isn't that obvious :)

Things that moved me that come to mind : The beautiful lady in the elevator in London, The Himalayas , getting lost in Ladakh and guided by monks who gave me and my friend tea and advise, Monsoon rain in Taj Mahala , A fourth grader hugged me and told me thank you , A third grader gave me an apple , The taxi drivers at Rome who drove like a bat out of hell so we don 't miss our train , Sheck Karadawi 's peach about Libya , Bengazi women making sandwiches for their sons fighting at the front lines , Angelina Jolie visiting refuges from Libya at the Tunisian border , The city of Siena , iWind , an Italian cellular company charging 1c a minute on calls to Libya so Libyans could contact their families , this took place for a month , the full moon in Perugia , The Italian gentleman at Air Tunis who helped me and my sister at the airport .

About Angelina Jolie visiting refuges : I have to admit , I use to think that when I see a famous person doing charity work , I automatically view it as a publicity stunt . And that is my ignorance at its best . Of course there maybe some publicity enveloped in charity work , but it is wrong to assume the worst about people in general . The visit by Angelina Jolie took me by such a surprise that I thought it wasn't real. It really moved me .
Of course it is not all cost and smooth. Life has been a little... not hard, but strange, because it is different. I've learned a lot about my self and the ignorance that blinds. I think I know it now.
